Philippe-Emmanuel Maulion has been responsible for the initiation and implementation of SITA’s global information security programme, heading an international team of specialists. He leads the development and execution of the organization’s information security strategy, ensuring that information security practices are embedded into the conduct of business.
Under Philippe-Emmanuel’s direction, the company has developed a comprehensive foundation for managing information security that aligns to standards and best practices (ISO 27001 in particular) and introduced a security overlay process to the software and product development lifecycle that promotes the ‘secure by design’ approach.
Philippe-Emmanuel led a key strategic initiative for SITA to establish a security intelligence capability that provides contextual analysis of the tactics, tools and procedures (TTPs) used by attackers, performs security assessment and penetration testing to assess exposure, to reduce the likelihood and impact of a cyber attack against the organization.
Philippe-Emmanuel leverages nearly two decades of expertise in information security, and has held a number of positions including; Information Security Architect and Consultant, IT Audit Manager. He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science Techniques and he is a certified Project Manager (PMP) and holds information security certifications (CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor).
